Household Production
Learn to grow, make, and preserve at home.
Household Production teaches you how to create useful goods and resources at home through practical, hands-on work. Through projects in gardening, food growing and preservation, cooking from raw ingredients, sewing and textile production, basic animal care, composting, and resource reuse, you learn how a household can meet needs with greater skill, self-reliance, and care for the environment. The course emphasizes planning, safety, quality, sustainable use of materials, and the satisfaction of producing, repairing, and preserving things that support daily household life.
