The plan writes itself.
You have already done most of the work
If you have been working through the earlier modules, your operating plan is mostly written. You have a list of functions, you know who owns each one, you have sorted them by priority, you have a rhythm, and you have committed to two improvements. What remains is a short household profile, a few more improvements to round it out, and a 30-day list of the first things you will actually do.
A plan, not a manual
The operating plan is not a binder. It is not a policy document. It is a short, honest picture of how the household runs, written down so it does not live in one person's head. The reading for this module walks through the template and what goes in each section. Most of it will look familiar, because you built the pieces already.
The best plan is a short one that gets reopened. The worst is a thorough one that goes in a drawer.
The worksheet below starts with a read-only review of everything your earlier modules captured. Below that you add a brief profile of the household, round your improvements out to five, and write a 30-day action list. When the first action is written, the draft is done. It does not have to be long to be real.
The reading for this module
This is the core reading for the module. Take it with your earlier work beside you.
Assemble the plan.
Your operating plan has been building itself. Review it, add a household profile and a 30-day action list, and the first draft is done.
