Three frameworks, sixty courses.
Running a household takes three kinds of skill: managing the daily work, maintaining the systems and structure, and producing useful things at home. Each framework teaches twenty courses. They fill with modules as the material is ready, so the catalog grows over time rather than arriving all at once.
Household Management equips you with the knowledge and practical habits needed to run a home confidently, thoughtfully, and responsibly. Through hands-on projects and real-life scenarios, you explore food planning and preparation, nutrition, budgeting, consumer decisions, clothing and textile care, organization, and the effective use of time and resources.
Household Maintenance introduces you to the systems, tools, materials, and problem-solving skills that help keep a home safe, functional, and comfortable. You gain practical experience with basic repairs, tool safety, home systems, simple electrical and plumbing concepts, painting and finishing, maintenance planning, and informed decisions about when a job can be handled independently or requires a qualified professional.
Household Production teaches you how to create useful goods and resources at home through practical, hands-on work. Through projects in gardening, food growing and preservation, cooking from raw ingredients, sewing and textile production, basic animal care, composting, and resource reuse, you learn how a household can meet needs with greater skill, self-reliance, and care for the environment.
