The planning layer of household food.
Unit 2 taught you to cook. This unit teaches you to decide what to cook, how much, for whom, and when. It is the difference between making dinner and feeding a household, and it turns a sequence of improvised meals into a plan you can repeat, adjust, and hand to someone else.
Basic nutrition using the current 2025-2030 Dietary Guidelines, reading Nutrition Facts labels and ingredient lists, building balanced meals, weekly meal planning around schedule and budget, adapting for allergies and dietary needs, and deliberate leftover use.
Cooking technique (Unit 2), grocery shopping and food storage (Unit 4), medical nutrition therapy, weight-loss diets, supplement regimens, or emergency food planning (Units 17-19). This is ordinary household meal planning, not clinical nutrition.
Seven modules, three tiers.
Work through them in order. Each tier ends with something you can point to and say the household can now do this.
