Nashville is a credible candidate for households seeking a compact county seat with several places for repeated participation. Stoney Creek Environmental Park, Cooley Library, the farmers market, recreation center, advisory boards and downtown projects provide more than a festival calendar.
The restraint is scale and capacity. Nashville is already near the project population ceiling, and cumulative development from Rocky Mount, US 64 and I-95 could change housing, water demand, traffic and community form faster than headline population suggests.
