Your Household Health Plan

Seven pieces, one system

What you built

Over the last seven modules you built seven separate pieces: a care map showing where to go for what, a first-aid readiness audit, a room-by-room home safety record, a medication list for every household member, a personal health info sheet, a preventive care schedule, and a caregiving assessment with advance-planning status. Each one stands on its own. Each one is useful by itself. But the real value is in what they become when you look at them together.

The annual review

A care map with a provider who retired six months ago is a care map that sends you to the wrong office. A medication list from last year does not include the prescription added in March. A safety audit from before the renovation does not account for the new stairway or the relocated smoke alarm. Each piece drifts on its own schedule, and any one of them can be out of date without anyone noticing, because the household does not use these documents every day. It uses them in the moments when accuracy matters most.

The household that reviews all seven pieces together, once a year, catches the gaps that reviewing them separately misses. The expired CPR certification shows up next to the outdated care map and the overdue dental appointment, and instead of seven small maintenance tasks spread across seven forgettable moments, they become one morning's work with a clear list of what needs updating.

Seven documents reviewed separately are seven chances to forget. Reviewed together, once a year, they become one system, and the gaps show themselves.

Your plan and your next steps

The review block below shows what you recorded in each module. Some lines will say "not yet" where you skipped a module or left a worksheet incomplete. That is useful information: it tells you exactly where to go back. Below the review, you will summarize each area in your own words and set your review date. Then you will add at least one health review item: the single most important thing your household needs to do before the next review.

The plan is a living document. Come back and edit it whenever something changes. A new prescription, a moved smoke alarm, a lapsed CPR certification, a child who aged out of one set of childproofing measures and into another. The household that treats this plan as a reference rather than a finished assignment is the household that will still know where it stands a year from now.
