First Responder Note
Household members, pets, medical conditions, allergies, and medications, on wallet-sized panels. Keep one visible near an exit and one in your ready bag. Written to be read by a paramedic who has never met you and has ninety seconds.
Wallet Contact Card
Emergency contacts, one out-of-area contact, meeting point, blood type, and critical medications. Print, cut, laminate. A phone with a dead battery holds no phone numbers. Two copies per sheet so the household has a spare.
Utility Shutoff Sheet
Where the water, gas, and electric shutoffs are, what tool each needs, and the order to work in. Fill it in once and mount it near the panel, so a teenager or a neighbor can act without calling you.
First Aid Kit Checklist
Everything that belongs in a household first aid kit, with checkboxes to tick as you stock it. Includes what to skip, and why a high item count is usually the marketing rather than the value. Print it and store it with the kit.

Family Communication Plan Card
The plan on one sheet: out-of-state contact, two meeting points, the household radio channel and call sign, check-in times, who runs the net, and a check-in log. Fill it in together, tape one inside a cabinet door, put one in every kit.
Print on plain paper, then laminate or slide into a zip bag. Update anything holding phone numbers or medications once a year, on a date you already remember.
Why paper
Not every document wants a screen.
A printable earns its place when one of three things is true. It has to be filled in by hand, so the information is yours and not a form field on a dead phone. It has to be carried on your person, sized for a wallet or a glovebox. Or it has to be read by someone who is not you: a paramedic in your kitchen, a neighbor checking your house, a shelter volunteer looking after your dog.
If none of those is true, it is not a printable. It is a checklist, and a checklist page does the job better because it tracks what you own and stays current when a product changes.
